***Every effort will be made by Bhutan Valley Adventures to put our guests up in lodges and hotels with the most reasonable facilities while still available. Guests should be aware that facility at these venues is far from meeting the international standard and tends to be very basic: electricity, heating, private bath/shower room with hot water & daily change of clean linen. We don't have a star rating system for hotels and lodges in Bhutan. Should you prefer more comfortable accomodation, in some region, you have a few choices that meet the 5-star international standard such as Amankora, Uma Paro & Zhiwa Ling but not all the places. Nevertheless, these are usually guest lodges with a small number of rooms/suites, a resident spa and inhouse restaurant serving both tradtional and contemporary food. The extra cost of staying in these venues shall be borne by the guests and the associated cost will be communicated to you in advance.
