VISA

○ All visitors, other than Indian, Bangladeshis and Maldivian nationals, visiting Bhutan must have a valid visa clearance letter issued by the Department of Immigration of Bhutan prior to their departure for Bhutan which takes at least 10 days to process. You are required to produce a copy of your visa clearance letter at the time of check-in.

 Please note that the visas are only issued to tourists booked with a local licensed tour operator, directly or through a foreign travel agent after the payment is being made to the concerned account.

○ Air tickets to Bhutan cannot be purchased without visa clearance. All visa applications must reach Bhutan at least 4 weeks prior to the visitor's intended travel date.

 

TARIFF

  High Season Tariff - USD$ 250 per person per night for the months of March, April, May, September, October and November.

  Low Season Tariff - USD$200 per person per night for the months of January, February, June, July, August, and December.

  There will be some delays in arrival and departure due to weather conditions, disrupting flights/road blocks. However the tourist must bear the cost of food, accommodation and other services required during that time.
